My better half and I own Brainfood Bookstore in Longmont, Colorado. It is the only exclusively indie- and local-lit bookstore in the nation. We meet a lot of crazy folks.

Someone left this note on John’s truck yesterday, in response to his OBAMA! bumper sticker and Kansas license plate. We were really excited that someone left a note on our windshield that, you know, is nice. I love Colorado.
The irony, alas, is that although I am a Democrat, John is not, and it’s his truck and bumper sticker. He just supports what he considers the best candidate.

This is the worst news I have ever heard.Any of you Wichita folks know anything about this? We tried to go to the one up by 96 and Woodlawn and there are notices taped to the windows that say SEIZED and we were told brusquely to leave by some lady with some sort of state ID, and the owner lady was moving all her stuff out of the cart into her van. Anyone know what’s up?
Hey guys, this is my brother, Larry.
Recently he has gone missing and/or AWOL here in Wichita,KS. We are unsure about where his current location is. He has not answered his phone calls or texts in 6 weeks and no one has seen or heard from him in over a month. My family is also becoming very very worried and stressed about this.
He is 25 going on 26. He is about 5’8 with short brown hair and brown eyes. He also has sort of a beard.
If you have anything, and I mean anything about him and if you have seen him in the last 6 weeks, PLEASE send me a message.

I met with some amazing people last night (Wichita Creative Professionals), many of whom are responsible for this post card. In case you can’t read, it says, Wichita: Wish you were here. The idea is that Wichitans can pick up this post card for free at many local venues and send them to people all over the world. The recipients of the post card can take a picture of themselves with the postcard and send it to Facebook.com/FromWichitaWithLove (listed on the back of the post card).
