I'm Mik. Model, mother, moron. Future meta-magician. Former logic clinician.
My better half and I own Brainfood Bookstore in Longmont, Colorado. It is the only exclusively indie- and local-lit bookstore in the nation. We meet a lot of crazy folks.
Testimonial from a former roommate:
"Living with you was like living with a quiet little opinionated deer person who floated around like a ghost and said smart/nutso things and ate seaweed. "
I love Colorado. I love mountains. I love hiking. I read and write. I raise my children to the best of my ability. I have lupus and have defeated early-stage cancer twice, so I pretty much fully support the use of medical marijuana.

I really wish we had gotten more of an exploration for this line. I really loved that he did refuse, but it also engenders so many questions.
Why exactly did Kurt not want to play Frankenfurter?
Was he uncomfortable with wearing drag? Was he uncomfortable with showing that much skin? Was he uncomfortable with opening himself to even more bullying by playing a transgendered character? Was he irritated with Schue for assuming that he would play it? All of the above and then some?
I feel like it’s because Frank-N-Furter is transgendered in an extremely sexualized way. It’s so burlesque. Kurt sometimes borders on transgender outfits, but always in an androgynous way.
I don’t know any better words to distinguish between these two looks, and I wish I did. One one hand, there’s men who look like women: voluptuous, curvey, bright lipstick, muscles, sort of obscenely sexualized and just taking up so much room. And then there’s boys who look like girls: skinny, prepubescent, metrosexual, no curves, no sex.
Honest to god, all I want is to be the second one.
