I'm Mik. Model, mother, moron. Future meta-magician. Former logic clinician.
My better half and I own Brainfood Bookstore in Longmont, Colorado. It is the only exclusively indie- and local-lit bookstore in the nation. We meet a lot of crazy folks.
Testimonial from a former roommate:
"Living with you was like living with a quiet little opinionated deer person who floated around like a ghost and said smart/nutso things and ate seaweed. "
I love Colorado. I love mountains. I love hiking. I read and write. I raise my children to the best of my ability. I have lupus and have defeated early-stage cancer twice, so I pretty much fully support the use of medical marijuana.
twatsonsirwatson replied to your post: the difference in the cost of living in various states really blows my mind sometimes. $1900 in new york is like…a months rent. and idk how ur living off $400 a month. for all those bills? u must be an EXCELLENT budgeter. my car insurance alone is $300.
Art shows are an awesome free way to eat dinner, and look at art at the same time.
Yeah exactly. There are SO many ways to get free food if you are willing to go to a bunch of different stuff. Art shows, guest lectures, and open houses at salons are definitely top of the list because there’s other awesome stuff involved too!
Just curious what do you use to identify me. Like when I just showed up the other day and you weren’t expecting me howed you know?
Hahaha it did take me a second! I was super confused. Your eyebrow ridges and complexion. In high school I went off of the outline of your hair and your necklaces.
